- Abstract
The basis of this article are the letters of two deans of physical faculty of Moscow State University S. T. Konobeevsky (1947) and A. S. Predvoditelev (1953) addressed to high governmental officials. These letters together with some other archive materials and verbal evidences of contemporaries make it possible to consider the opposition of the physicists from Moscow State University and of the Academy of Sciences at the end of the forties and beginning of fifties.
