Abstract

The article is narrating the little known page in the history of penetration of indo-tibetian medical science into russian culture. The role of bourjatian and russian physicians in the introduction of ind-tibetian medical science and increase of its authority is shown. Then indo-tibetian medical science becomes specific social intitute of russian society.
