- Abstract
Historical-and-psychological analysis of views of leading Soviet psychologists – P.Ya.Gаl'perin (1902–1988) and S.L. Rubinstein (1889–1960) on interiorizationis presented. Scientific and biographical facts of scientists’ activity become the starting points for the study. The history of development of P.Ya. Gаl'perin’s scientific views towards creation of theory of gradual development of mental acts and notions is shown, critical assessment of understanding of interiorization by P.Ya. Gаl’perin from S.L. Rubinstein’s point of view is presented. Texts of scientists’ scientific publications including articles in domestic scientific periodicals, reports and speeches on scientific conferences and sessions, monographs, records from scientific archive are the material for historical-and-psychological analysis. The main method of the study is addressing to primary sources with the following comparison of scientists’ remarks on interiorization problem. As the result of the study it has been established that P.Ya. Gаl'perinand S.L. Rubinstein approach the problem of interiorization from different perspectives: S.L. Rubinstein – from methodological while P.Ya. Gаl'perin– from specific-psychological one. The conclusion that although P.Ya. Gаl'perin’s empirical study of interiorization confirmed the correctness of his hypothesis the question of universal character of defined regularities remains open. Thus the problem of interiorization continues to be discussable.
