Исследование посвящено выявлению взаимосвязи черт личности и культурных ценностей с оценкой себя и других людей и участия в этих процессах дефолт-системы мозга (DMN). На основе данных ЭЭГ выявлялись паттерны коннективности DMN при оценивании себя и других людей, и исследовалась взаимосвязь с личностными и культурными переменными. Выявлено, что при оценивании себя, у лиц с высокой дружелюбностью, интеллектом и эмоциональным интеллектом коннективность DMNоказалась меньше, а у лиц с высоким нейротизмом и коллективизмом — больше, чем при оценивании других людей. Это позволяет предположить, что, по сравнению с оценкой других людей, самооценка в первом случае требует меньше, а во втором, наоборот, больше когнитивных ресурсов. Эти данные дают возможность по-новому взглянуть на связанные с личностью и культурными стереотипами особенности поведения в процессе социальных взаимодействий.
