- Abstract
The authors of the article analyze the current trends in the development of Information Law in the context of the active transformation of Russian legislation and legal science, as well as the development of the IT sector in the context of sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation. The main directions of the development of the science of Information Law in connection with the adoption of a new nomenclature of scientific specialties are also being investigated. According to the new system of scientific certification of highly qualified personnel, information law specialists can actually find themselves in all scientific specialties. The article analyzes the features of research on information law within the framework of individual scientific specialties. It is concluded that the priority scientific specialty for the study of the legal regulation of information relations is the specialty in public law (state) sciences. When conducting private law research, it is necessary to comprehensively, taking into account the basic nature of information law, study the existing features of various private law institutions used in the process of regulating relations related to information (digital) technologies. The complex nature of Information Law is manifested in the new nomenclature of passports of scientific specialties due to the possibility of conducting research of information and legal orientation in almost every public law and other scientific specialties. This proves that there is an objective need for the development of a general theory of Information Law, which should be aimed at supporting (scientific justification) the formation of state (public law) policy in order to ensure national security in the regulation of information relations, including ensuring information security, which becomes particularly acute in the conditions of changing the world order taking place today, the need for scientific substantiation of approaches in scientific research on various aspects of regulation of information relations and at various levels. In this regard, the science of Information Law should be developed today both in close contact with other legal sciences to ensure joint research, as well as conducting specialized research and defending dissertations not only in public law sciences, but also within the framework of other scientific specialties. In conclusion provides a brief analysis of the discussed problems of Information Law at the Fifth Bachilov Readings held in 2022 at the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
