Abstract

Notwithstanding the difficulties of bilateral relations between the US and China, both countries, given the current crisis, could possibly start, openly or tacitly, dialogue to prevent nuclear escalation in Ukraine for the sake of their own survivability. All sides of the current conflict in Ukraine has tunnel vision of their interests. However, the US and China’s coordination over this conflict could have positive effect both on Moscow and Kiev.
