- Abstract
The article reviews foreign policy of the United States towards moderate left-wing governments of Latin American countries, including Colombia, Chile and Peru. Due to the mutual demand and intersection of interests, both sides are ready to build a constructive dialogue, while immense limitative factors still matter. Despite political differences, Washington has strong intention to activate bilateral cooperation on particular issues, and in those areas where Latin American partners demonstrate the will for the reciprocal steps.
