- Abstract
At the end of February 2022 the conflict between Russia and Ukraine turned into combat action. Ukraine is actively supported by the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, as well as the North Atlantic Organization (NATO). The escalation of the conflict especially between Russia and the United States significantly increases the risk of nuclear catastrophe that would lead to the catastrophic consequences for the whole world. In order to avoid it some representatives of business and non-state actors in the United States express their ideas to start negotiations with Russia, some of them propose reasonable drafts projects of the possible peace treaty. However, the majority of American establishment and expert society insist on continuing the conflict “until the victory of Ukraine”.
