- Abstract
The article focuses on the current state of the US-DPRK dialogue. The paper depicts North Korean perspective on possible interaction with the United States, which is derived from the key characteristics of Pyongyang as a political counterpart, from North Korea’s reaction to earlier experiences in comparison to the actions of the current US president. New Law on DPRK’s Policy on Nuclear Forces is another factor to influence the perspectives of the dialogue. As a conclusion the author reflects on the role of the Republic of Korea in mediation of the process.
