Abstract

The features of Washington's foreign policy in the context of the new political course of Kabul are considered. The United States declares the need for further cooperation with partners to ensure security in Central and South Asia and to stabilize the situation in Afghanistan. Cooperation is based on the national interests of regional Powers. They are formed under the influence of interstate geoeconomic contradictions and security threats, which is partly due to the activities of the Taliban. Among Asian countries, security threats to Qatar and Pakistan are the most acute. In the medium term, it is not excluded that the White House will clarify the fundamental documents of foreign policy for the Asian region.
