- Аннотация
Крупные частные фонды возникли в Соединённых Штатах в начале XX века как автономные структуры для увеличения влияния и достижения коммерческих и общественно-политических целей деловой элиты и её участия в формировании повестки внутренней и внешней политики. В статье рассматривается процесс вовлечения фондов в формулирование и продвижение национальных интересов США и решение задач американской внешней политики. Анализируются изменения в подходах правительства к их включению в деятельность за рубежом, принципах координации и контроля за их работой в зависимости от ситуации на мировой арене и появления новых вызовов и угроз.
