- Abstract
- The article deals with the problems related to three Indian reductions created in the last period of the Jesuit activity in America, in the 18th century southward of Buenos Aires. The causes of their short history and the failure of this missionary enterprise is analyzed, and the fact that precisely in those conditions of Argentinean Pampa the Jesuit mission were from the beginning doomed to fail
