- Abstract
- In the latest German historiography discussion about a role of the Generalmajor of Wehrmacht H. von Tresckow (1901-1944) in anti-Hitlerite Resistance was developed. The contradiction of Tresckow was in the constant confl ict to his obligations to the country and the army, which part he was. Tresckow was the opponent of a mode which he had to serve. On the basis of sources and literatures being stored in Federal Military Archive Germany, in the Memorial of German Resistance in Berlin, at Institute of modern history in Munich and in other places the author recreates an ambiguous image of Tresckow.
