- Abstract
- In the article the cooperation between the Norwegian polar researchers Fridtjof Nansen(1861-1930) and Roald Amundsen (1872-1928) and their Russian colleagues from 1890 to 1930 is considered. The relations of the Norwegian scientists with the Russian and then the Soviet colleagues are analyzed. Since 1890 Fridtjof Nansen conducted extensive correspondence with Russian colleagues. Roald Amundsen was known in Russia after expedition on the Northwest sea way, but it had no so extensive personal contacts to Russian polar researchers, as Fridtjof Nansen.
