- Abstract
- The article deals with peculiarities of legal status of Russian emigrants in different provinces in China, 1917-1924, examines the policy of the former tsarist diplomats, the Chinese administration and Soviet representatives in regard to the Russian refugees, shows the predominance of political factors in the decision of problems of legal status of Russian emigrants from the Soviet Russia, and the Republic of China. Special attention is paid to activities of the envoy of the Russian Empire in China N. A. Kudashev for the protection of the rights of Russian citizens of China.
