- Abstract
- In the article the place and the role of Russia in the modern world, its relationship with the Asian partners - India, the Republic of Korea, Democratic People's Republic of Korea are considered. The main attention is given to the analysis of the condition and prospects of cooperation with the People's Republic of China. The ideology of the Chinese reforms, their methodological aspects is in detail shined. A problem of self-identifi cation of Russia as Euroasian power is considered. In this regard the eurocentrism approach in the foreign policy, inherent in a considerable part of the Russian political elite is exposed to criticism. A number of practical offers of rather Asian vector of foreign policy of Russia, development of economic cooperation of the Russian Far East with the People's Republic of China is offered.
