- Abstract
Understanding of challenges and prospects of psychological science under the conditions of global
society formation stated in A. L. Zhuravlev, I. A. Mironenko and A. V. Yurevich’s article “Psychological Science
in the global world: challenges and prospects” is considered. The task of comprehension and evaluation of
proposed by the authors approaches and technologies from the standpoint of supradisciplinary economic and
psychological approach is formulated. Critical analysis conducted from this standpoint leads to the conclusion
that support of ability of new scientific generation to maintain universal positive changes is the key general
academic challenge under the conditions of global society formation. According to the author, globalization
of science is not only of socio-psychological nature but of cognitive-intellectual one as well; this determines
the task of elaboration of such research program that can contribute to mankind’s stable development. The
conclusion that domestic psychology to a large extent has a number of competitive advantages for qualitative
and effective meeting the challenges that face world’s science nowadays is drown.
