- Abstract
- Three possible approaches of man to the figure of God are identified and thought over: those are: the religious one, the atheistic and theomachistic, the first two being described mostly critically. Materialism is regarded as the philosophical foundation of the atheistic position, while existentialism serves as the basis for the theomachistic one. In relation to the ontological and anthropological spheres, The strong and weak points of religious philosophy are identified concerning ontological and anthropological domains. Theomachistic motives inherent to the religious existentialism are identified.
