- Abstract
- The article displays the «Russian Constantinople» in philosophy, political and military, religion writings. Ideas, dreams, and projects of taking-over Tsargrad and raising the cross over the St. Sophia Cathedral are considered in the context of later Russian plans regarding the city, especially during the wars, Russia was carrying on in the Balkans in the late nineteenth – early twentieth centuries.
