- Abstract
- The paper seeks ways to restore prestige and creativity of philosophy of history through formation of a problematic framework, i.e. several interconnected groups of problems that can attract attention of different “camps” of philosophers of history and macrosociologists. The requirements for these problems are defined explicitly such as: 1) the problems of trust to history, 2) the problems of values and assessments in history, 3) the problems of integration and accumulation of historical descriptions, 4) the problems of structure and course of history, 5) the problems of meaning of history and historical self-identity problems.
