Abstract
Importance of understanding such a new phenomenon on Earth as global ptoblems and climate change as one among them, has led to the use of a new approach in systems analysis, known as ‘the system of systems’. The evolution of climate modeling is considered – from conceptual to global climate models and to those of intermediary complexity and empirical models. Climate factors play a signifi cant role in modeling. Studying them – ice cover dynamics on the Earth, volcano and solar activity, the role of greenhouse gases-scenarios of climate change are made.
